1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "Service" or "Services" refers to luxury vehicle rental services provided by peregrineta, including Low Altitude, Mid Altitude, and Summit Altitude tiers
• "User" or "You" refers to any individual or entity booking or using our services
• "Vehicle" refers to any automobile rented through peregrineta
• "Rental Period" refers to the agreed timeframe from vehicle delivery to return
• "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to peregrineta
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and any additional rental documentation provided at booking

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting a booking request, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3. Service Description

peregrineta provides luxury vehicle rental services in Singapore across three service tiers:

Low Altitude - City Sedan

Daily rental of luxury sedans with city navigation guide, real-time traffic advisory, delivery within CBD/Orchard/Marina Bay zones, 150km daily mileage allowance, and comprehensive insurance.

Mid Altitude - Touring Coupé

Sport coupés and GT models with all Low Altitude features plus day-trip itinerary planning, GPS tracker, aviation-style technical manual, 300km daily mileage allowance, and bonus mileage for two-day bookings.

Summit Altitude - Flagship Survey

Ultra-luxury sedans and flagship SUVs with all Mid Altitude features plus dedicated operations coordinator, complete journey plan management, multi-stop routing coordination, flexible mileage arrangements, and post-journey summary report.

Service availability is subject to vehicle inventory and booking schedules. We reserve the right to modify service offerings with advance notice.

4. Rental Requirements

Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from peregrineta, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Hold a valid driver's license recognized in Singapore (Singapore license or valid international driving permit)
• Provide valid identification (passport or national ID card)
• Provide a valid credit card for security deposit and payment
• Meet any additional requirements specific to certain vehicle categories

Documentation

All required documentation must be presented before vehicle delivery. Failure to provide valid documentation will result in rental cancellation without refund of booking fees.

5. Booking and Payment

Booking Process

Bookings are made through our website contact form or by phone. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from our operations team via email.

Pricing

All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include:

• Vehicle rental for the agreed period
• Tier-specific services as described
• Comprehensive insurance coverage
• Standard delivery and return within tier scope

Payment Terms

Payment is required in full at the time of booking confirmation. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). A security deposit equal to 50% of the rental fee will be authorized on your credit card and released within 7-14 business days after vehicle return, subject to final inspection.

Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

• Mileage exceeding tier allowance (SGD 0.80 per kilometer)
• Delivery or return outside standard tier zones (quoted at booking)
• Late return fees (SGD 150 per hour, prorated)
• Fuel charges if vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level
• Cleaning fees for excessive dirt or odors (SGD 200-500)
• Traffic violations, parking fines, or toll charges incurred during rental
• Damage exceeding insurance coverage

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by Customer

• More than 48 hours before delivery: Full refund minus processing fee (SGD 50)
• 24-48 hours before delivery: 50% refund of rental fee
• Less than 24 hours before delivery: No refund

Cancellation by peregrineta

We reserve the right to cancel a booking in the following circumstances:

• Vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical issues or accident
• Customer fails to provide required documentation
• Customer's driving license or identification is found to be invalid
• Weather or road conditions make rental unsafe

In case of cancellation by peregrineta, you will receive a full refund within 7 business days. We may offer an alternative vehicle of equivalent or higher tier at no additional cost.

7. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

Permitted Use

Vehicles may only be used for personal transportation within Singapore. You agree to:

• Operate the vehicle in accordance with Singapore's traffic laws and regulations
• Use the vehicle only on properly maintained roads
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition during the rental period
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately

Prohibited Uses

You must NOT:

• Allow any unauthorized person to drive the vehicle
• Use the vehicle for commercial purposes, racing, or competitive events
• Transport illegal substances or contraband
• Smoke in the vehicle or transport pets without prior authorization
• Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Drive the vehicle outside Singapore without written permission
• Exceed posted speed limits or engage in reckless driving
• Use the vehicle for driver training or testing

8. Insurance and Liability

Insurance Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage with the following limits:

• Third-party liability coverage up to SGD 2,000,000
• Vehicle damage coverage with SGD 3,000 excess per claim
• Theft coverage with SGD 5,000 excess

Your Liability

You are liable for:

• The insurance excess amount in case of accident or damage
• Full vehicle value if the vehicle is stolen due to your negligence
• All damage resulting from prohibited use of the vehicle
• Any damage to third-party property or injury to third parties
• Traffic fines, parking violations, and toll charges

Accident Procedures

In the event of an accident, you must:

• Contact peregrineta immediately (within 2 hours)
• Not admit fault or make any commitments to third parties
• Obtain contact information and insurance details of all involved parties
• File a police report for all accidents involving injury or significant damage
• Complete our accident report form within 24 hours

9. Vehicle Delivery and Return

Delivery

Vehicles will be delivered at the agreed time and location. Delivery is included within tier-specified zones. You must inspect the vehicle at delivery and report any existing damage or issues.

Return

Vehicles must be returned:

• At the agreed time and location
• In the same condition as delivered (normal wear and tear excepted)
• With the same fuel level as delivery
• Clean and free of personal belongings

Late returns will incur additional charges. If you anticipate a delay, contact us immediately to arrange an extension (subject to availability and additional fees).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our documentation, including text, graphics, logos, route guides, and technical manuals, is the property of peregrineta and protected by Singapore intellectual property laws.

You may use our documentation for personal reference during your rental period only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the rental
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or revenue
• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
• We do not guarantee specific results from the use of our route guidance or advisory services

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless peregrineta, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use or misuse of the rented vehicle
• Your violation of any laws or regulations
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any accident or damage caused during your rental period

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate a rental agreement and demand immediate return of the vehicle if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• You provide false information or documentation
• The vehicle is being used for prohibited purposes
• Payment authorization is declined or reversed
• We reasonably believe the vehicle or any person is in danger

Termination for cause does not entitle you to any refund and you remain liable for all charges incurred up to termination.

15. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional rental documentation, constitute the entire agreement between you and peregrineta regarding the use of our services.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to customers with active bookings.
